The MBA Agency was established in 2004 by Dr Regena Mitchell and Brodwyn Boock to offer a unique, tailored service to MBA graduates to enhance the application of management and leadership knowledge in NZ. The MBA Agency also provides essential information, support and opportunities for MBA graduates, prospectives, providers and employers

Dr Regena L Mitchell PhD Management & Organisation Theory MSc Organisational Behaviour BSc summa cum laude Management Science/Psychology.

Regena is the Managing Director of The MBA Agency and has extensive experience with MBAs in the USA and New Zealand. She directed Otago University’s Executive MBA for seven years and taught organisational behaviour with an emphasis on leadership development. She also directed the University of Auckland’s Executive and Management MBA programmes for four years. From 1996 through 2000 Regena was the author of "The Guide to New Zealand MBA Programmes" while providing executive coaching through her private consulting firm.

Regena began her career with MBAs as the Director of MBA Career Development in The Peter F Drucker Graduate Management School at The Claremont Graduate University where she completed her doctoral studies. Over the course of her 20-plus-year career with MBAs she has taught, coached and advised full-time, part-time professional and Executive MBAs.

In addition to her tertiary qualifications, she is a member of the American Psychological Association and qualified in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, TKI and FIRO-B assessments, Margerison McCann Team Management Index and 360 degree feedback.

Brodwyn Boock MBA BCom Accounting MHRINZ

Brodwyn is the Executive Director of The MBA Agency and has had fifteen years diverse management experience within the tertiary education sector including strategic planning, financial management and human resources. She was responsible for the management of the Otago Executive MBA in Auckland for six years, and during this time also completed her own MBA, graduating in 2003.

In working with MBAs from the initial decision making process of prospectives, through pastoral care during study, to maintaining contact as alumni, Brodwyn has gained a full appreciation for the diversity of their needs. Brodwyn shares Regena's passion to positively promote the MBA degree and graduates to further generate awareness of their competence, integrity and professionalism to the NZ market.

Vivienne Tobin Grad Cert Career Development MCPANZ GCDF JCTC MHRINZ

Vivienne is an Associate of The MBA Agency and is a certified Job and Career Transition Coach and an internationally accredited Global Career Development Facilitator. She has extensive work experience in NZ, Australia, and England in the finance, banking, insurance, legal, manufacturing and hospitality sectors. She has also had six years experience counselling and advising students of the Auckland MBA programme.

Since 1998, Vivienne has worked with clients through her own business Career Reflections. In joining The MBA Agency she will bring her breadth of experience to assist MBA graduates effectively manage the transition process.


The MBA Agency has administrative support and access to a network of practitioners for additional services.
