MasterClass Series - Exclusively
for MBA graduates
Intelligent Teams
Facilitated by Martin Ringer
In Auckland at a date to be advised
Ideas will be introduced to create an intellectual "stretch" even
for the well informed team leader, manager or consultant so as to create new
approaches to developing collective intelligence in teams. Your ways of thinking
about teams and collective thinking will be challenged.
Key learning objectives
- A "stretch" in thinking about how teams and organisations
really work
- Greater versatility in leadership and facilitation style
- An increase in depth of understanding about the powerful ubiquitous
out-of-awareness dynamics in teams
- The potential to increase the ability of influencing teams and groups
towards more effective collective thinking
- "Constructive confusion" that has participants questioning
prior assumptions about their own functioning and the functioning of
teams and organisations. This constructive confusion is intended to
stimulate on-going learning that persists after leaving the workshop.
Learning Style
The MasterClass is intended to be a place where participants have a "lived
experience" of taking part in collective thinking and learn from this
experience. Other learning will be achieved from short lectures on theory,
models and techniques, and from experiencing facilitation techniques that are
intended to enhance collective thinking.
